"Our stay was comfortable and we had been warned about the redecorations etc. going on. However, staircases were unhoovered and sometimes breakfast produce and equipment had to be asked for. We were not asked if we were happy with everything and staff were not really very interested in the personal side of things. The swimming pool looked uninviting, with coiled pipes in the water."

"This is in a retirement complex within walking distance (1km) of the centre of Lisieux. The room we had was good, with a kitchen with Hob and microwave and a dining area. At the weekend the access to the building is by key code and the reception is not manned all the time. Very quiet. The set up seems quite surreal, but actually works well."

"Arrived evening about 21:00 on a Monday, in France Monday is a no no as everything is closed, I would not expect a hotel to be quite so reluctant to serve its customers, absolute no possibility of food that evening and breakfast was from 08:30, we were leaving at 07:30, not even an offer to leave something out for us.
