Dear Anonymous, I feel very sorry that your expectations were not met here. Reading your review, I assume you came with the expectations of staying in a traditional hotel, which we are not. Hotel Schäfli was built for the mobile citizen, those who travel often for business and leisure and value comfort where it counts – and at affordable rates. Traditional front desk is time taking with unnecessary form filling and so on. Instead, check-in here is self-service and efficient, taking no longer than 2 minutes, and is just like at any airport check-in or using an ATM. Team members are available on call 24/7 to assist with anything you need during your stay, including helping at the kiosk whether you have an issue or unable to do yourself. Hotel Schäfli is for a niche on our own style, and we understand it doesn't satisfy everyone - free high-speed Wi-Fi, free parking, contemporary environment to work & lounge, 24/7 drinks & snacks availability and some fun twists. The room is smart in size, functional, focusing on a great bed, a power shower and a clean but cozy design. There are many pictures and information available from online travel agencies like hotels.com, our website, fellow reviewers, Google and beyond, to help you with the decision making before actually booking a room.
