"The Tonito Hotel is the ONLY place to even consider staying in Uyuni! The hotel is truly an oasis in the salt desert! "We spent one night in this hotel. We booked it as the last minute as the hotel we first booked was closed. We arrived at the hotel by bus before 5 am and Almidena staff was there and opened the door for us. They also allowed us to early check in so we could get a room to take shower and had a nap. The staff Santos (hopefully I remember his name correctly) is very helpful. He took care of us very well and provided all convenience for us. Only one thing I can complain this hotel is its facility....

"Arrived and showed our Expedia reservation confirmation only to be told they were having trouble with their reservation system and didn’t have room for us for the night. The man at the front desk didn’t know what to do so he called the boss who proceeded to hang up on us when we tried to ask for a solution.
