"Initially I was going to give my experience a 2 because our first room was not what we expected. Bees inside, flooded shower, holes on the floor board (big enough for our kids feet to get stuck) it was definitely not like the picture and the place could use some work to make it better. So we told them we were going to stay o e night because it was late and go somewhere else the next day. On the next day after our complimentary breakfast, which was well presented and delicious. A manager came to us with concerns about our stay and wanted to make up for the inconvenience. He said he would like to upgrade us to a private room with a private pool for no aditional cost if we would consider staying. My wife told him that we would still like to see our options in the area and he invited us to check out the other rooms after 3pm. After a few hours we came back and he showed us our rooms. To our surprise, it was amazing, and the room could accommodate 8 people with plenty of room. We took the offer and I must admit, our vacation was wonderful. The kids were happy and we had a great time. Dont expect too much but the place is nice and food was good as well. You can really stay there and enjoy everything, including the super close beach. If it wasn't for the upgrade I would not have been satisfied with our stay. Plenty of options out there but the private pool really sold me, especially with kids. Staff was very kind and polite and the breakfast was the same but delicious."
