Comfortable stay at a B&B

Our stay was comfortable and cozy. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location is somewhat removed from the center of town, requiring an uphill walk when returning to the B&B.

O anuncio/foto não condiz com o local e valor

Na prática, trata-se de um hostel disfarçado de hotel, e deveria ser anunciado como tal. Logo na chegada, fomos informados que o estabelecimento está sob nova direção, algo que não foi mencionado no anúncio nem nos comentários anteriores. Essa omissão já nos causou estranhamento. Café da manhã: O que é oferecido não pode ser chamado de “café da manhã de hotel”. Recebemos apenas duas fatias de pão de forma, um pão tipo “média luna”, uma xícara de café requentado no micro-ondas e uma de leite. No anúncio, constava “café da manhã completo”, o que claramente não condiz com a realidade. Infraestrutura: O quarto não possui frigobar, e nem há geladeira ou frigobar disponível na área comum para uso dos hóspedes, além de ser minúsculo. Isso compromete bastante o conforto e a praticidade da estadia. Limpeza: A higienização das toalhas é duvidosa. Embora pareçam ser lavadas na lavanderia da casa, aparentam passar apenas por uma lavagem comum. Precisei solicitar a troca da toalha que me foi entregue, pois estava visivelmente suja e encardida. Anúncio enganoso: O anúncio menciona uma apresentação de tango como cortesia do hotel, o que não existe. Provavelmente era algo oferecido pela gestão anterior, mas a nova direção optou por manter essa informação como atrativo, o que considero uma propaganda enganosa. O mesmo vale para as fotos do café da manhã completo, que não refletem a realidade. Conclusão: A nota 9 atribuída ao estabelecimento é completamente incompatível com a experiência que t

Hosteria correcta....podría mejorar con poca cosa

El check in correcto, el desayuno aunque repetitivo está correcto, Vanessa muy amable. El cuarto no tiene ropero, apena dos sistemas de perchas, queda a 5 cuadras de av san martin. Mucho repecho para ir. La cama no es muy confortable, puede mejorar.

Lovely home situated on a hill overlooking the Beagle Channel. Host and hostess very pleasant. Our host entertained all the guests with some wonderful tango music on his accordion piano on the evening of our arrival. bedrooms and bathrooms adequate and clean. Breakfast was a little disappointing with bread for toast provided, plus some croissants. Some fruit would have been a very nice added extra. However, perhaps it is difficult to get fresh fruit there.

The perfect place to stay

Beautiful and clean residence. Very helpful and informative owners who are very knowledgeable about the area. The owner helped us book the penguin tour last minute which ended up being the highlight of our trip. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. Would recommend this place to absolutely anybody!

Uphill and comfortable

Tango is run by a friendly couple as a B&B in their home. It is comfortable and certainly gave everything that was advertised. Being at the end of the line Ushuaia is not a cheap city, but within that Tango was perfectly reasonable. It is away from the tourist zone which stretches along the port area, and the streets are very steep, so expect a 15-20 minute walk downhill to the restaurants. That means a good walk back or if you have to move luggage, but for that short a distance taxis are not expensive. The neighborhood seemed fine; I walked uphill and then through much of the city with no problems at all.

Great place to stay!

I found the hotel owners particularly friendly and helpful. They even provided amazing entertainment one evening. The room was simple but clean and I thought the location provided good access to down town; a 10 minute walk, although up hill, which I did not mind.

Host Raul

Friendly, informative and very welcoming host who treated us just as his own family. Raul, the host, is a semi retired musician /composer who treated his guests, us included, one night to a private "tango show" in his home. He played the accordian and accompanied his songs with stories of the history of the tango. It was very well done and fascinating to hear. We celebrated the end of the "show" with a toast of champagne and then sat as a group and talked to get to know each other. It was a very cosy and lovely evening.

Em geral, a estadia foi muito boa. Raul e Cristina, os anfitriões, são muito simpáticos e atenciosos. O Raul fez um show musical contando a história do tango na 6a. feira simplesmente exuberante!

Following our dream to Antartica.

We stayed there twice before our trip to Antarctica and after we came back from our great trip The front room we had is small but good for sleeping,it has no desk to sit and work on. It is a fifteen minute walk down wards but a climb to go up,or you can take a taxi back. The final evening staying there was a highlight with a great performance of Raul playing his accordion and explaining the history of the Tango.

Clean and basic B&B

B&B is situated uphill around 6-7streets away from the main street. Maybe a 20min walk. Caution for those who have difficulty with stairs - but then Ushuaia is hilly all over anyway. Simple breakfast of medialunas and bread, with coffee/tea, juice and milk. Would be nice to have some fruit. Surroundings are more suburbs, quiet but still safe. The couple running it are friendly and will give you advice on some local attractions.

Not what we were promised.

We booked a private room with bath at this B&b but the bathroom was in the hallway. My husband needs to get up frequently in the night, so It was not convenient. Twin beds narrow, you can fall off if turning the wrong way. Waste basket was in clothes closet ( which had holes in the wall) and I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower, grungy! We booked for two nights but asked for refund for second night, but owner refused. We checked into a hotel for second night and lost &120., which I think was pretty steep for that b&b offerings and location. I give it 2 stars
