"Lovely place to stay but although 400 years old it’s like any other new hotel… This was the only thing that was disappointing as the staff and breakfast was lovely. It is also in the pedestrian zone so if you have lots of luggage it can be a tough walk."

"When I say this hotel went above and beyond, I mean it. I screwed up my booking and arrived a day early. They not only phoned around to find a close hotel with an opening for the night (as they were full that night), they got all of my luggage to the other hotel, gave me a complimentary drink, got my luggage back on my actual reservation day, and gave me the best recommendations for food and coffee. "We loved everything about this hotel except our room (25) was very noisy because of the hotel restaurant's loud and mostly electronic music. Ww couldn't use our balcony and had to keep all windows and doors shut to muffle the vibration and sound! We had to ask repeatefly for it to be turned down - and even then it wasn't enough for us to enjoy our stay. A lot iof money spent and very disappointing!"
