"Clean and spacious room. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Parking was free and good enough. Need to contact staff when the main parking lot was full though. Buffer dinner and breakfast were excellent. But during golden week, there were a lot of guests and a bit crowded. The attractions were excellent but sparse and so the area was better to visit with your own car. During golden week, dinner and breakfast were not optional and that costed more than other period."

"Most staffs were friendly and helpful. Excepted one who we asked for the Korean facial thing and he asked why we didn't get it during check in like we tried to lie for it. Otherwise staffs even helped to bring our luggage up and down the stairs which they already have a notice that customer needs to do it themselves. Dinner/Breakfast took quite sometime as dinner was arranged course after course with really fancy dish arrangements. Breakfast has no meat and self serve sabu-sabu. Both meals were done in a enclosed room which I did not quite like but it was my personal preference. Train station pick up / drop off arrangement were excellent; really like the help of the drivers on our luggage."

"Room was spacious. Onsen was good. Great dinner at restaurant nearby. Staff is not 24-7 at the hotel. Self check-in and check-out at the machine, everything is self-served. Enjoyed quiet environment at the hotel for 2 nights. Good for refreshing trip."

"Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice. Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas). Bonus note, some of the hole in the wall restaurants nearby are excellent and the rual area nearby is great for a break from the big cities (it has that fresh air countryside feel)."
