"I stayed for 7 nights and found the room comfortable. The premises are beautifully maintained, especially the pool and gardens, and the property is very clean throughout. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable—Julius in particular is a real star: a young man always willing to help. Negative points: There is no ATM on site, and reception cannot always break large notes, which made tipping staff difficult. As a result, I wasn’t able to tip as much as I would have liked. Basic amenities such as hair conditioner had to be requested almost daily. TV has basic channels only and was not working properly. Also internet is fast but losing signal quiet often due to electrical faults within the property. The food offers plenty of variety but does not quite meet a 5-star standard. Alcoholic drinks and bottled water are also not included in the package. Overall, I still recommend visiting this beautiful venue by the sea, especially for its peaceful setting and private beach. I will be back for sure!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located within walking distance of all the major spots. The hotel also offers a trolley service to the beach, and for other destinations, transportation is available for a small fee, which was very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I appreciated the laundry service, enjoyed spending time by the pool, and felt well taken care of throughout my stay. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a DJ, which created a great first impression and set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. "I had a wonderful stay at Ycona Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff attended to our every need and made us feel truly cared for. The manager, Claudia, along with Omar, were especially outstanding—both were incredibly helpful in facilitating all of our plans and were always flexible and accommodating. They even helped arrange romantic activities on-site, which made our stay extra special. The villas were spotless and cleaned daily, which added greatly to our comfort. This ended up being one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar. Anything that wasn’t readily available at the resort was seamlessly arranged by bringing someone in from town, making it feel like there was almost no need to leave the property at all. An unforgettable experience from start to finish."

All team were super friendly, especially Joyce, Generozza, Happiness- all first class. "Very welcoming and friendly staff; restaurant went out of their way to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The property is kept very clean and well staffed. If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife "
