"The hotel is good value for money and located in the downtown area of Ulsan city. Good restaurants and pubs are nearby. The only controversial point is the fact that the reception(check-in) desk is located right in front of the elevators, so you have to see and say hello to staffs every time you go back to your room. "We had just an exceptional experience. Upon check-in, our room, which was beautiful, had a problem with the a/c. A fantastic hotel manager (I wish I could remember his name) took care of the problem immediately and even upgraded us to a better room! We enjoyed room service breakfast one morning, which was excellent, and visited the outdoor infinity pool once - because during peak season, you're only allowed to visit one time per day. But this didn't detract from our great stay. The room had all the amenities you'd expect and even some you wouldn't, like cables to charge your devices. We hope to visit Busan again and will definitely stay here."

"Kolon Hotel was remodeled in 2023, so the beds and facilities (air conditioning, bathroom, amenities, etc.) were excellent.
However, perhaps because it was only a renovation, the window frames are still a bit outdated.
There weren’t any major downsides, but it wasn’t perfect either.
It offers great value for money, and the breakfast in particular was outstanding and delicious.
What I liked the most was the Time After Time exhibition. If you’re Korean, I highly recommend getting tickets.

"I had a suite for a day. Rooms were clean, and the view was excellent.
However, I cannot recommend this place to non-Koreans as there are very limited choices for activities and restaurants. All the restaurants are seafood places. Mostly sushi places, if you enjoy sushi, this place would be a great choice. We had live fish sushi for about 40,000 won per person, and it was excellent."
