Lovely Black Forest German Guesthouse

Excellent traditional German guesthouse, family owned and they cared about their property and most importantly their clients, food and service excellent, location perfect for the Black Forest experience and for visiting Schaffhausen and Zurich, it's also better value than Swiss hotels.

We are so happy we choose to stay two nights. Beautiful evening walks. Wonderful food and lovely hosts. It’s an older hotel but very well kept. The room was spacious and very very clean. We loved our stay here. The food at the restaurant is delicious and would appear to be very very popular with locals. That’s always a good sign.

The corner room has an excellent mountain view, though it can be slightly noisy if the window is open during summer for better ventilation. Overall we had a comfortable stay and staff are friendly too, they helped us to keep the yogurt in the fridge as my dog needs to take yogurt for breakfast daily. Thank you!

Ein typischer Landgasthof, einfach und etwas altmodisch eingerichtet, hat dadurch aber seinen eigenen Reiz. Sehr freundlicher Familienbetrieb mit einem ausgezeichneten Frühstück (kein Buffet!).
