This was a quality hotel situated overlooking the lake . It also had a resturant attached which was excellent good food and ambiance the staff allowed me to check in early which after overnight train was helpful also allowed me to store luggage awaiting a return evening train the staff was very helpful . The laundry service was excellent the room had bags of charm with your own seating in the window to overlook life on the street overall a great vist

It's a heritage property with a restaurant on the second floor and is quite centrally located. That said the facilities and amenities are poor. The restaurant is blaring music for most of the day. The room is bit cramped.

Hot water issues daily. It’s not there when you need it. Washroom is fairly rough around the edges. No portable heaters available so need to stay under covers and dress warmly. However it is a truly unique experience of more authentic Indian travel. Take advantage before it’s all gone.
