Very disappointing
Arrived at the hotel around 2:45PM And they looked confused as to our arrival, Keeping in mind we booked 3 weeks prior for a twin room. Long story short we spent the next hour plus, back and forward…as they did not have a twin room available. They tried to ship us off to another hotel which was in an inconvenient location… the reason we booked this place was because it was on a very central road and location…. The way it was handled was poor… trying to convince us we should go elsewhere… and made it feel like it was our fault… when clearly they screwed up the booking..The owner told my friend they accepted people that came through on the day with money for a twin room… but it’s a complete joke…eventually around 4pm we gave up and said we’ll go anywhere…they sent us to another place that was cheaper and they made money on us no matter what. (please do not have an option available for twin room if you cannot honor this on arrival)…. It would have solved everything and we wouldn’t have booked there in the first place. FYI I looked up the price difference between the hotels original booking…. was about $50AUD per night - the one we were shipped off to was $38AUD…. We already had breakfast included on this as well… so it made no difference saying we’ll get breakfast at the second hotel…. Easily the worst experience I’ve had checking in anywhere… that’s from numerous stays in many places in Bali! Thankfully majority of places are really good.

Great stay
This was an excellent stay in a perfect location walking distance to all the hot spots right in ubud. The staff was very friendly and comfortable large room. The breakfast was included and decent. Good price stay for good location. The only downfall was the towel was old, so I used my own. Would stay again!

Money well spent
Great host and friendly sraffs. Good air con and wifi but warm/hot water for shower is not consistent. Roomy and clean, hot water for hot drink arrive daily morning. Closed to main Monkey Forest Road. Can order Grab car or bike for sight seeing outside town. Lots and lots of shops and eateries on the main road. Your money worth++++!

In the heart of Ubud
A brief 2 night solo stay whilst visiting Ubud. Location is great, just tucked away in a back street off the main road in Ubud, literally about 4 minutes walk to the Palace. Room, bed and accommodation was basic but adequate for a short stay, the bathroom is fine but could certainly do with being updated, though all functional. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, serving breakfast on the patio at whatever time you wanted. Consisted of tea and coffee, omelette, toast and tropical fruit. Great cheap clean and friendly base to explore Ubud by foot. Would stay again.

Booked the twin room with balcony to begin with, however the bathroom was in such bad condition that we asked to switch to a double room instead. The staff was helpful in letting us switch, unfortunately we saw a cockroach in the bathroom one day but no reappearance. Breakfast so-so but works.

Warji House 1 not for me
Wont stay in this room again. Sewerage system needs updating. Bathroom was smelling really mouldy and bad. Toilet pot was loose. Very basic and i dont think its my kinda lodgings. Maybe more for the younger traveller

Staff was amazing and extremely helpful very helpful and kind. The place is on a tiny back street next to the monkey forest road so it's very quiet in spite being a 1 minute walk from the noisy main road, which is awesome. From our room you could even see a beautiful sunset! We will definitely stay here again.

It was a good choice - close in to the centre of town but quiet. The staff were very nice and the overall ambience was great. It was a small hotel which meant good service, breakfast on our terrace in the morning was a nice touch..

Rooms are well organised but some rooms smell extremely musty, some less and some does not smell at all. I had to ask for room change because I couldn't breathe inside the room. Other than that, good value for money.

The smell...

Underpriced gem
Excellent clean and modern room in a very convenient location. So underpriced - could have been worth it at triple the price! I wish I had stayed there for all of my days in Ubud.

Central and pleasant. No Pool.
There are so many accommodation options in Ubud. I wouldn't say it is a 'must stay' but it was clean and friendly and central. There was a pleasant view from the upper rooms. But the live entertainment was pretty loud at night, although it didn't continue very late into the night.

Great location, great room.
It was in a great location, just off the main road, so everything was easily accessible but it was still quiet. It was a little difficult to find but we asked a local and they helped us out. The breakfast was lovely, you could have tea and coffee for free in the evening on the porch which was a nice way to wind down. The staff were all very friendly and overall the room was very nice.

Amazing people - very helpful; helped us book activities during the day. Great location - right on the Monkey Forest road, but not too close to the monkeys. Walking distance to nice cafes and little shops. Quiet within the hustle and bustle.

beautiful hotel with good location
we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and with good hot shower & air condition. Breakfast served was ok. But the bed sheet was a bit smelly. Good service from the staff.

My new favorite home in Ubud
Beautiful in every way! So peaceful and pretty! Beautiful Decor, clean, in fact spotless! Perfect location in the middle of town yet tucked away on a quiet street. I will definitely make this my "go to" home away from home while on business in Ubud. Loved it!

Lovely and Quiet Place This was a lovely place to stay with very friendly staff The double rooms seem to have all been redecorated and look lovely We have a really lovely view which was lovely for reading and relaxing The staff bring you breakfast to your balcony which you get a choice and again it was lovely The hotel is not situated on the front street which means that it's lovely and quiet

Lovely pool and clean sheets!
We were upgraded to a room in Warji House 2, which is just as central. The room with the pool view was perfect, with a mosquito net going around the whole bed which is great. Clean sheets and bathroom, great breakfast and clean pool. I can't find anything wrong.
