We had a wonderful stay at Catalina Hotel in Ubatuba! The amenities are fantastic, including the pool, hot tub, and rooftop area. There's a portion of the beach which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel where hotel staff provide chairs, tables, and drinks. There is also a shuttle service to and from the beach. Would highly recommend staying here, if you're looking for a quiet, safe, and well kept hotel with plenty of amenities!

Fantastic beach, very quiet with warm water. Room well appointed and the jacuzzi was a plus. Restaurant is decent without being spectacular. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff very friendly. Only negative was normal requests for things like room service seemed to be considered unusual.

The man who helped us check in, was extremely hospitable, sharing with us great information on the area, and also some needed supplies that we did not have for charging our phones. We were stranded in this area and couldn’t get back to our home, but we had a very hospitable time in this posada.

stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Way to over priced for what your receive in hotel standard and facilities. Poor customer service from staff. rooms not of high quality and uncomfortable bed. Over charged on check out where another guests charges where billed to my account. I would not stay here again. Much improvement required for this price point and I would really advise anyone thinking of booking this hotel to definitely book else where. The pictures paint one vision in reality it's something else. There is no shortage of other good places to stay in Ubatuba. Don't waste your money.

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful, and the view from the pool is just amazing. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk away — and since it’s a bit steep, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service. At the beach, you’ll find sun loungers and a small hotel bar where you can order food and drinks. The restaurant at the hotel is also highly recommended — we had two excellent dinners there, and the breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared. We can highly recommend this hotel and especially the wonderful staff!

The hotel is rather lovely. Great spacious room. We had the best eve r dinner at the restaurant BUT there is a massive bit coming up…. The hotel didn’t tell us about the huge and exceptionally noisy environment due to extensive building work. It is utterly noisy and v uncomfortable. We had to leave the hotel For the day in order to relax and enjoy. Totally unfair. We approached the reception team and they literally lied to be by saying it was just a last minute problem. They all Lied to our faces. Shame on you Expedia for not looking after us your customers and failing to advise and give us the chance to book another hotel. This hotel Was and is v expensive and yet we hate it due to the building work. Stay away until the work is completed or demand a discount. It is unfair that we pay for a service which is not being fully provided. For the team at Expedia, I expect more from you Considering the huge amount of bookings I have made the past few months. You were supposed to take care of us all customers and those who were supposed to enjoy the Platinum status. This is not the case. I am embarrassed on your and the hotel behalf.

No geral a estadia foi excelente. Gostamos muito do serviço de bar e restaurante (tanto no cafe da manha como refeiçoes e petiscos na praia/piscina). O staff sempre atencioso e a limpeza muito boa. A estrutura do hotel condiz com as fotos porem o unico inconveniente foi que o hotel estava em obras e isso trouxe algum barulho e, principalmente um cheiro desagradavel em algumas poucas areas do hotel (especialmente no elevador). De resto, muito boa nossa estadia. Recomendamos e voltaremos.
