"We booked this spot last-minute during an unexpected overnight layover in Philly and were so glad we did. The location in Old City was perfect—super walkable and felt very safe, even walking to grab a late-night Philly cheesesteak after 11pm on a Saturday. "My teen daughter and I stayed here for one night while traveling around PA, NJ and NY. This place is so cute. When we first got here we were greeted and given a quick tour including some history about the house and how it came to be a hotel. The room was very well appointed with a full, updated bathroom. A “continental breakfast” was included which consisted of coffee, juice and fresh fruit, cereal, homemade muffins and coffee cake. The hotel is with 5 minutes walking distance to Independence...

"Fabulous hotel with the most amazing bridge views, right on the water front! Hotel was clean and staff were great. Would not go back to the restaurant again, service was terrible and food was just ok. There is an espresso maker in the hotel lobby which was nice because local coffee options are limited."
