"I LOVE The Edgewater Hotel! It's seen better days but it's ON the water and it's iconic Seattle. I like the fireplaces in every room and I adore the bathrooms. The stone flooring is so cool and the showers are the best. I didn't get a tub in my bath this time but that's okay. Room service was impeccable; food was to die for and they were so fast to deliver! The Halloween pop up bar was so much fun! And the staff can't be beat-from the valets to housekeeping to front desk to wait staff, everybody seems very happy to work there and are willing to do anything to make the stay perfect! The nicest people brought food to my room and I appreciate that!"

"The location is superb within feet of the Pike Place Market. The room was quiet even though facing the street. The rooftop terrace was an excellent place to relax with a bottle of Washington state wine and some cheese (grab some from Beecher's Handmade Cheese shop on the corner), and watch the sunset. The firepits add an extra nice touch when it is cool out. The valet/bellmen were great taking care of the luggage to and from our room, and parking and retrieving the car. The hotel staff brought chocolates and bottled water to the room every afternoon. They also gave us additional water at the front desk when we asked for it. Bacco Cafe in the same building on the street side had wonderful breakfast options and the staff there were friendly and attentive. It was also just a few blocks to the Monorail at Westlake Tower to get back and forth to the Seattle Center for the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glassworks (definitely worth the visit). We also walked to the ferry terminal and spent an afternoon exploring Bainbridge Island. Like I said, the location was suberb! Don't forget to visit the Market and watch the Salmon Fly!"

"Located two blocks away from Pike Place Market. Room is a small apartment set up. The entrance area and apartment are showing some age defects. Bedroom is a little tight near the window."
