"I booked one night for a flight transit. One important tip: request the airport shuttle before your flight lands at Brunei Airport. They’ll send you an online link to fill in, and you’ll need to provide your flight number and estimated arrival time.
As a Hong Kong passport holder, I entered Brunei without a visa. Still, complete the e-arrival card before you land and have it ready at immigration. The driver was already waiting when I arrived and gave me a warm welcome. He was friendly and knowledgeable, pointing out the night market and food mall along the way to the hotel.
At reception, the staff were courteous and helpful — they handed over the room key and walked me to my room. There are three kittens in the lobby, though they’re a bit shy around people.
My room is a queen-sized bedroom in the adjacent building, about a thirty-second walk from reception. I’d describe the hotel as a little dated, but very clean and cozy, with comfortable bedding. They provide a kettle for boiling water complimentary bottles of water, and a fridge. For the bathroom, there’s a spacious stand-up shower.
They also offer a great free breakfast with coffee and tea, orange juice, milk, toast, bread, nasi, sausage, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, salad, and more. With that room rent and location, no complains at all."
