"Not the most to do in the area by foot. Rooms were fine, pretty middle of the road. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Beds were a little on the firm side for us. "

"When arrived at hotel reception it was noisy and congested with children 👧 running around. I asked if possible for a room I quiet area of hotel, this was accommodated at an additional cost of £180 euros hence total cost £792 for two nights bed and breakfast, not good value for money.Room was clean and aided a restful night. Breakfast was like Piccadilly Circus with Children and a cartoon character walking around. I asked for gluten free crackers but not availability as don’t eat bread. Poor selection of fresh fruit and had grilled tomato which was merely Luke warm. On second morning asked to be seated at a quieter area which was accommodated. This hotel is definitely very suited to those with young families as very family oriented ."

"The room was lovely, and the staff were great. When we arrived, two beautiful dogs were waiting at the hotel door. It was therapeutic after a long day of travelling overseas. The hotel is beautiful, and I especially enjoyed having a drink or two at Tupper's Bar. Will be staying here again the next time I'm in Kilkenny."
