Very welcoming

The hotel is well located. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not many amenities around property, shops bars etc, but very similar situation to a lot of the area. If intending on staying in this area would highly recommend.

Great stay! Close to the sedrun lift

The location was great- close to the train station and also to the ski area. The room was clean, breakfast was wonderful, and they we’re incredibly helpful and kind! This is actually closer to the ski lift than the town of Sedrun (you go from sedrun through Rueras to get to the Sedrun ski area). There is a rental shop literally directly across from the lift.

Great choice hotel with outstanding service

UNBELIEVABLE great experience. Really nice hotel with exceptional clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel is located in a beautiful valley with nice room or balcony views - depending on your room selection. Breakfast is buffer style with many choices, frim the traditional Swiss cheese to large selection of meets and drinks. The owners are always on the property and went out of their way to make our stay great. Extremely helpful, always with a smile. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is an absolute gem of a place! I was here for a quick 3 day solo ski trip and could not have made a better choice to stay here. The owners and staff are fantastic and super helpful in figuring out how to maximize your trip and navigate the different mountains across Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis. The hotel is conveniently located near the Milez Flyer lift and ski rental shop at Dieni (15 minute walk in regular shoes, 5 minute bus ride with your gear). The bus stop is literally right in front of the hotel. So you are basically slopeside for less than half the cost of the cheapest hotel in Andermatt. If you must go to Andermatt, you can take a 50 minute train, or get there skiing in an hour using a series of 4 lifts. The room was clean and very comfortable and I had good sleep every night. They have a ski gear storage area with lockers. The ski boot driers are a nice touch as well. There is a nice cozy lounge area where you can play games, read, or socialize. I had some great conversations with the owner there. I left every morning with a hearty breakfast in me that tided me well into the afternoon. The dinner and drinks were excellent as well, both taste and presentation matching the pride the staff took in their offerings. Enough cannot be said about how awesome the owners and staff are. If I were to come back to this region to ski again, no question I would stay here.

Perfect ski getaway

Mountain Lodge was exactly what we were looking for in a Swiss ski trip. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We loved the "hang out" room in the back after a long day on the slopes.

Only downsides were a lack of fridge and hot drink facilities in the room. Hotel was brilliant, staff first rate, friendly and knowledgeable. Bike storage and car charging available. Restaurant in the hotel top notch. Would highly recommend!

Foi uma experiência muito boa. Voltaríamos com certeza a nos hospedar ali. O atendimento é excepcional. Nota 10. O local é singelo e aconchegante. A vista das imediações é de tirar o fôlego de tanta beleza. O quarto é limpo e confortável. A comida é boa e não é tão cara. Fomos em maio. As montanhas ainda tinham neve nos picos e os campos ao redor estavam floridos. Do Hotel você pode contemplar isso. É lindo. Os proprietários, Michel e Serena, são muito atenciosos e prestativos, e falam vários idiomas, (Alemão, Italiano,Inglês, Espanhol), o que ajuda muito. Fomos de carro, mas também pode ir de trem pois o Hotel fica perto da Estação Rueras, a 100 metros de caminhada. Recomendamos muito o Hotel. It was a very good experience. We would definitely stay there again. The service is exceptional. Note 10. The place is simple and cozy. The view of the surroundings is breathtakingly beautiful. The room is clean and comfortable. The food is good and not so expensive. We went in May. The mountains still had snow on the peaks and the surrounding fields were flowering. From the Hotel you can contemplate this. It's beautiful. The owners, Michel and Serena, are very attentive and helpful, and speak several languages, (German, Italian, English, Spanish), which helps a lot. We went by car, but you can also go by train because the Hotel is close to the Rueras Station, 100 meters walk. We highly recommend the Hotel.

De lodge ligt in een prachtige omgeving. De familiekamer was heel groot. De kinderen hadden een aparte slaapkamer. Er stond zelfs een kleine hoekbank in. Het personeel was echt heel klantvriendelijk! Ze gaven ons een tip hoe we op een andere manier (niet door de Gotthart tunnel) naar Italië konden rijden. De bediening in het restaurant was ook heel aardig. Toen we vertrokken kwam er iemand achter ons aan naar buiten. Hij had net de webcam bekeken en vertelde ons ook dat we de andere route moesten nemen. Die weg was zo mooi en rustig.

Het hotel zag er leuk uit met een fijne kamer. Waarschijnlijk was die nog niet helemaal af want we keken in het badkamer gedeelte tegen de potloodstreepjes, schroeven ,draden en afvoer aan maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Dat je er kan eten is ook superhandig dan hoef je na een (vermoeiende) dag niet meer op zoek naar een restaurant.De eerste nacht hadden we het raam open, als je er tegen kan prima maar 1 van ons hoorde elke slag van de kerkklok. De volgende nacht het raam dicht gedaan, dan hoor je niets maar het was echt benauwd.Het waren dagen van boven de 30 graden. Leuke eigenaar met mooie tips, wij hadden onze must-see`s al gedaan hadden nog een bonusdag. Veel te doen in de omgeving, goede uitvalbasis.
