"I have stayed in Marriott hotels for more than 30 years and without a doubt this was my worst experience. My wife and I arrived in DC and I went straight to a business meeting and sent her to the hotel. She recently had surgery and needed to relax. The hotel manager would not let her check in under my name. I called and he said Zi had to be there in person. I offered to zoom or FaceTime with my license and he said no go. Beyond ridiculous that I can close on a house and testify in Federal court via zoom but can’t check into a hotel which has already been fully paid for. My wife had to wait for hours until I arrived and when I did I got stuck in the elevator. The maintenance man told me literally not to worry and it happens all the time. The electrical outlets next to the bed didn’t work and when I went to talk to the manager he said he does not care. "
