For the cost, it felt like a very significant inconvenience, especially after a really long day of traveling. Also, one perk of staying at the hotel is 45 min early park access. On the day we went, they were 25 minutes late in opening the park. "

This Motel 6 is situated in a perfect area if you have a dog or kids, there is a park nearby within a 3 minute walk with large grassy area and play area. In addition there is another park closer to the beach Carlsbad has tons of great restaurants and coffee shop. "
