"Such a charming hotel in the beautiful town of Sesto on the eastern side of the Dolomites. We had a wonderful four-night stay here. The rooms were spacious, updated, and so comfortable after long days of hiking. Everyone on the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a quieter place to stay with fewer tourists and a more local feel, we highly recommend it. Thank you again for the warm hospitality. We hope to be back someday!"

"We stayed there for 3 nights. I have to admit that we are disappointed with the stay at Hotel Sorapiss. It’s not a 3 star hotel by any standards. It’s very simple and rustic in terms of the facilities. Room lacks basic utilities, no cups, no tissues, no fans in bathroom. Room feels very humid. Stuff at breakfast was very rude. "We had a lovely time staying at Grifone Dolomiti! The hotel is perfect, clean and in good repair. The shuttle ride is easy and quick to the closest lift and ticket sale. There are ski lockers adjacent to the entrance for storing equipment and drying/warming your boots. Fantastic. Many good things can be said about the physical hotel, but the very best, and most important compliments can be for the staff. Everyone friendly, helpful, ready to make your stay more comfortable. The curtains were not enough to keep the room protected, and the cleaning staff would open them some, so the room was always superheated. No AC. "Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money...
