"Gorgeous apartment - clean, spacious and very comfortable and stylish. View from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch and gentleman who checked us in very helpful. Would have loved to stay longer! Organising check in could have been better, email address I was given didn't work, neither did WhatsApp so only option was to telephone on arrival but the apartment was ready when we arrived at 10am which was great for being able to settle in before sightseeing "

"The stay could have been much better if the room had a small kitchenette—something simple like a microwave and toaster, as found in other rooms. For the price we paid, the room didn’t feel worth it. There was also no proper luggage storage. The only cabinet provided was broken, dusty, and looked extremely outdated. The main positives of this accommodation are its central location, the beautiful lake view, and the very friendly caretakers. Unfortunately, aside from these points, the experience didn’t justify the cost."

"The view from my room was stunning. Both the check-in staff and the bar employee just made my stay… Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. The only thing I did not like is, I could not take a hot shower… Even after they checked it to see if I had hot water… I never got hot water… So a shower was frustrating… Other than that, a sensational Hotel!"

"Check in not user friendly as had to have internet on to get code number from message on Hotels.com App to open key box. I did not see it until help from another person checking in. No tea/coffee facilities. Used alternative locations . Given that host is only available during breakfast hours (7.30 to 9.30) I Felt host could have notified incoming guests that ferry to Hallstatt was not running. This information could be left in room along with alternative Transport viability - bus/train. There is an Information Centre but quite a walk from hotel. As a solo female guest I felt an information brochure/folder in room is a necessity. Location great, near the train station. I will not book again."

"Breakfast has been a big disappointment - very limited choice, empty bread baskets and nearly not any vegetable or fruit. Manager of breakfast shift should get additional training for management of hotel. Overall is hotel clean, but outdated and stars rating is for Central European standard very ambitious. "

"There were ants inside the main entrance. The room decorations were dusty. The brown curtains were oily from handprints. The sockets and plugs were dirty. The door lock was messy as if someone had intentionally spread something on the handle. The guests in the opposite room seemed like they live there, and had absolutely no consideration for anyone else. They walked up and down the corridor talking on their phones. They loudly quarrelled with each other. They blow dried their hair at 2am. It was not worthy of a first or second class hotel."
