"Our stay here was great. We were made to feel welcome and the staff were very helpful when we needed them. We had a deluxe double room which was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the old town one way and 15 minutes from a big shopping centre the other. The spa facilities were OK, the jacuzzi was a good size. "I suspect this is a totally refurbished Communist-era hotel but it has been refurbished magnificently. It is just over the river from the Central Park and just below the wooded Belvedere, creating a quiet, almost non-urban setting. It is an easy 10 minute walk to all the sights in Cluj and there is a bus stop with a goodconnection to the train station just beside the main entrance. Breakfast was sumptuous and generous too."

"Wir waren zum wiederholten Mal in dem Hotel. Auch dieses Mal war alles wundebar. Wir haben an der Rezeption ein Zimmerupgrade erhalten. Wir konnten über unser Handy ein Fussballspiel auf dem grossen TV in der Bar anschauen und wurden in der Zeit freundlich mit Getränken und Essen versorgt. Bad war groß, mit separater Dusche und Badewanne. Frühstück war gut, optional mit nach Wunsch zubereitem Omelett. Die typischen, warmen Cookies bei Double Tree wurden beim Einchecken auch nicht vergessen....
