"I had a lovely stay at Ballyroe Lodge Hotel, with the beautiful Slievemish Mountains in the distance. The staff were lovely and really made you feel welcome, especially Pelin on reception, who helped sort a taxi issue I had. Pelin would get 10 stars if I could give them ! The breakfast was lovely with an excellent selection, with the fantastic mountain view.There are two car parks, a small one near the hotel and a bigger one nearby.If you want a peaceful relaxing break this is the hotel. "This was the most memorable accommodation I have ever stayed at. To stay in a castle over night was magical. The rooms were large and lovely. The best balance of timeless historic decor with modern amenities. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed the donkeys, ponies and dogs on site. The grounds are beautiful. Definitely worth the stay. If you are able please do so, you will make some great memories!"
