"Such wonderful hosts and a great location! We had a great time going from onsen to onsen and stopping at the snack bar across the road before retiring for the night. "

"Our jaes dropped when we walked into this place. The staff were all so helpful and wonderful. We were treated like royalty. My experience here has been so wonderful it makes me sad I didnt plan for more days here. If I ever get the opportunity to come back to japan this is my first stop and possibly my only stop. There was a shuttle service to main streets. Laundry service just 2 minute walk away. Complementary beer and water stocked daily in your room refrigerator. Onsen on site. A spa. Beautiful rock garden and going pond in the center of the building you can view from any room.
They have dinner and breakfast for an extra fee. We chose to do that for our first day. We had our own private dinning room and for dinner had several courses brought to us. It was all beautiful. I will say, if you are not accustomed to Japanese food then this would not be the dinner and breakfast for you. However if that is the case the front desk has a map of all the MANY eating establishments around town and there is something for everyone here. On our second night we enjoyed a steak and seared chicken dinner just minutes away at one of the local spots. If you are on the fence about kinosaki, COME. And if you do, STAY HERE!!"
"Fantastic hotel. Prime location, beautiful outlook onto the river and mountain behind. Beautiful interiors and rooms. Fantastic restaurant - we enjoyed breakfast and dinner and an evening drink up there. Kinosaki onsen itself is lovely we visited 3 onsen with the pass that they provided us. Highly recommend a 2 night stay. Easy train tourney from Osaka."
"This was an amazing hotel. We had access to the really amazing, clean and not very populated public onsen with access to hot & cold pools, showers and sauna. Food was amazing too. We really loved it and will be back."
"This was my first ryokan, but easily the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Every need I had was already anticipated. I didn’t know hospitality like this even existed. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and eat here. I’d give 6 stars if I could."
"Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to every detail. Their hospitality truly elevated the entire experience.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect place to relax after exploring Kinosaki Onsen. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the famous bathhouses, restaurants, and the charming canal, making it incredibly easy to enjoy everything this wonderful town has to offer.
One of our favorite parts of the stay was being able to immerse ourselves in the unique atmosphere of Kinosaki while returning each evening to such a peaceful and comfortable hotel. Every interaction with the staff reflected the warmth and care for which Japan is known.
If you’re planning a visit to Kinosaki Onsen, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It combines outstanding service, comfort, and an ideal location to create a truly unforgettable experience. We would gladly stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful town."
"The location of the ryokan was great as it was just a few minutes walking from the station. It’s also very close to the most popular of the seven onsens. The staff are also extremely nice and the old lady who led me to my room and served me tea was very kind and caring. I highly recommend this ryokan for how good it is and a price that really can’t be beat. Also you get a pass to all of the onsens once you check in. Highly recommend "
"Pretty impressed with their thoughtfulness and excellent service!
Deposited my luggage with them before check in so I could go sightseeing. When I came back to check in, they told me they had already transported my luggage to my room! In addition, they offered me a hot towel and a choice of free welcome drink (you can choose from beer to soft drink or a snack). The breakfast is wonderful too! Piping hot miso soup based hotpot served with dishes made from local ingredients. Only drawback is it is a 10 min walk from Toyooka JR Station."
