What a great place. The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable (great air conditioning for those of us who are cold blooded). The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the BBQ area and outdoor furniture. The staff behind the desk were lovely with recommendations for our travel. Breakfast was a nice bonus, the kids enjoyed choosing each day. We will be back.

If this property has rooms just book it ! Out frigging standing in everything ! Loved it ! My favorite motel in every way ! I do think though you need something covering the outside door bottom as it’s not a snug fit ! I had a friendly lizard chirping in the early evening ! But loved your property

The owners were helpful and happy to supply an early free breakfast because we were visiting K’gari and needed to leave early for the ferry. We would also have been able to leave our car there for the day even though we weren’t staying the following night. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

We had stayed here prior to Cyclone Debbie in 2017 and it has just reopened. So thought we'd give it a go. There was a terrible smell coming from the grate in the bathroom, so had to put a towel over grate. The bathroom itself was clean. The fan was very dirty. The front door lock didn't work properly, but there was a slide lock going into the floor. Insufficient mugs for number of people. Beds were clean and comfy but overall disappointing compared to previously.

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Pool looked lovely but a bit too cool to try. Great selection of breakfast. Loved the talking doorhandle on the room door for security. Lots of tv channel choices. We'll be back!

Suitable for an overnight stop over in Townsville and appeared quite a safe area. Being right on a major road, it does get quite a lot of traffic noise particularly early morning.

Continental Brekky provisions included in accommodation price, The Sun Hotel short walk for evening dining and some small shops. Debbie at reception very pleasant. We left some clothes in wardrobe by accident and they have stored for us until we head back there in a few weeks time. Very impressed with room cleanliness and inclusions.

Nice and clean and modern appliances. Had everything you could need in the kitchenette. Staff were lovely and helpful and property was well maintained. Pool and pool area was great. Great value for money. Only thing I would suggest would be more towel rails in the bathroom for a room that slept 6 there was only hanging for 3 towels.

Highly recommended!
The room was clean and tidy, recently renovated I believed. It has a bigger TV than most of the motels we've stayed. The service was exceptional. Definitely coming back.
