"The restaurant & bar were very convenient. We went with another couple and it was nice to be able to eat and drink and know that you didn’t have to drive anywhere. The rooms were great!! Each room had a theme and was decorated right down to the shower hooks. Very comfortable bed and entire environment was great. Loved it. We will definitely go back. "South Shire is a beautiful place filled with history and character. The staff were wonderful; kind and attentive. They were welcoming to us and our pup throughout the stay. We were very happy with the quality of the mattress and linens as well as the ac being nice and cold on a very hot day (not always things you find in an older bed and breakfast.) We would absolutely stay here again. "
