Dreadful sardine tin, with no windows, cluttered with useless furniture (2 chairs for 4 people, go figure!)and the omnipresent stale stench of cigarettes. The smoke alarm had been deactivated! Overpriced, just like most Australian motels. Very disappointed.
It may be undergoing renovations slowly. The family room was small could barely move Number of beds was deceiving. . Towels were old and thin
The staff were very nice and welcoming. However the room was not as described. I booked a family room with a queen and 2 single beds. What i actually got was one single bed and a bunk bed with a double underneath and a single on top in a small room. I felt it was misleading to describe this as a family room as it was too small for a family and the bedding arrangement was uncomfortable. I had a very bad sleep due to having my son flip flopping around in the top bunk. I would prefer if the bedding arrangments were described accurately as a single and a bunk bed. Then i would not have booked this room for my family.
staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything was great.
the manager had provided little easter eggs and other extras to brighten up the room...asked personally about our comfort...suggested a nice restaurant on a public holiday...generally a very enjoyable stay...definitely reccommend...and cheap as well
