"The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes"

"A lovely hotel in a superb location overlooking the sea. The staff went over and above on service, especially at Reception when we had a query and also at breakfast. The breakfast was really nice, with a good selection of cooked options and plenty of juice and other options. We made good use of the indoor and outdoor pool and were really lucky with the weather. We look forward to visiting the Brunswick again!"
