"I'm very disappointed that when we booked the price on the website clearly said "total with taxes and fees" however, when we arrived we had to pay an extra $75 for parking and $65 resort fee plus tax. The wifi did not work properly in our room or in several spots on the property. The men's steam room was out of service. The room was very dark and old fashioned."

"The room is clean and spacious, very well maintained. Location is close to everything. Walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. The friendliness of the staffs in the check in counter was just so so but that’s not a big problem to me. On 2nd floor you can see the ocean but not a full view. Avoid the room near the elevator, it’s very noisy. Over all Highly recommend."

"All good staff was helpful and neighbor had yapping dog and we moved though would've been more convenient if they had to move as lost the tub that I wanted outside of that all was great!"

"This hotel never disappoints. We’ve been coming for years and each time it’s a perfect vacation. The hotel is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The location is prime for walking and enjoying quiet evenings. And the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. The price per night is in the higher end but not unreasonable. If you’re able to splurge this is the place to stay!"

"We had multiple complaints from the bathroom ceiling leaking to the staff not responding to requests to clean the room. Staff should be more responsive and attentive to its customers"

"Wonderful quick stay on the beach. The rooms are recently updated, nice thick towels and fresh robes in the room. The only thing to be mindful of is it is flanked by parking lots and this will produce the occasional noise, and the water pressure in the shower is very low. I would stay here again, location, location, location!!"

"Wow, what a find! Great value and so close to where we wanted to go, good beaches, food, and a surf shop within walking distance. A little loud one of five nights due to rowdy guests, and coffee makers in the units would be nice too. I will stay again."

"Fun, retro-ish, apartment -- much more than a room -- in a fantastic location with easy access to La Jolla and drives up the coast! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!"
