The building revently had some severed water damage/flooding. Elevators were not working and huge, loud dryers were throughout all
The hallways. We were not informed of any unusual circumstances prior to check in. There was only 1 elevator working at the time so there was always a massive wait in excess of 30mins so we had to use the stairs.
To add insult to injury, ALL the elevators were out Of service for check out and we were told there was no choice but to drag our suitcases down the stairs. I am currently going through physio for my shoulder and my sister recently had back surgery.
This also hindered our ability to take advantage of the amenities which was a huge part of why I booked there as well.
Again, I understand that things happen, but I should have been informed at the time of the incident and been given the opportunity to book elsewhere.
I am very disappointed to say the least.
