Room view and size were fabulous (deluxe King, river view) Location was great, near trains and walking distance to many attractions. Directly across the street from the National Sumo Stadium. "We stayed at Section L Kuramae last year (2024) for 5+ nights and again this year for 1 night before heading home. The overall check in process was easy and quick. We are a family of 4 so laundry, kitchenette, and all the other amenities were awesome(need) for us. We love how spacious it was. Since we stayed at a different area this year, we can compare the two. This location is more quiet, residential/ go home for rest. "

"Pros: everything is clean from the room to the hallways, nice shower (looks new/well maintained), well located (close to subway and nice local restaurants/activities), affordable, private rooms available and easy to check in and out. Cons: flat mattress, room lacks hooks or space to put things, wall plug is dangerously near the sink/faucet (could do with more plugs, those by the bed don't work), walls are paper thin (could hear neighbors well and constantly worried if they can hear us too), no...

"The experience was great, the staff did the best they could regardless of the language barrier and it felt very welcoming. The cleaning was great as well, we always had fresh towels and clean bed sheets everyday. We also stopped at the nice restaurant on the first which was a great way to start our trip in Japan. This hotel is conveniently located near Asakusa station and Kuramae also having the 711 across the street was a major plus. Would recommend for sure for those looking to stay in Asakusa...

"Staff were very friendly. Room size was great. Loved having a water station in the hotel as well as they have the option of water bottles. Walkable to the train stations. Lots of dining around the area and some shopping as well. The sake bar upstairs was fantastic! "

"Lifts were programmed badly. Long queues at the Lobby. Once a lift is assigned another can past by and time of guests is wasted. Also, please have a proper messaging board with the Hotel. Only calls was allowed which is very costly for international travellers. "

"Rooms were always cleaned perfectly, towels changed daily, full room cleaned every 3rd day. Our cleaning person always filled up the soaps and shampoos almost daily, and they smell so good! Hotel room is slightly roomier than average hotels in Japan, so that’s a plus. The hotel doesn’t really have amenities, but that’s fine with us. Two washer/dryers, which could be difficult to snag, but wasn’t too big of an issue. Hotel is right around the Oedo (E) train line, and a short walk from the JY/H...
