"We stayed three nights at the Hotel Square in Tomintoul. Although this is an older facility which could use a few updates to rugs, curtains, etc., we were very happy there. The hotel is clean, beds are super comfortable and the rooms are large and supplied with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good! Most importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service. We had a lovely stay!"

The property looked nice on the website, and we saw that it had a restaurant, but everything about it exceeded our expectations! "The Braemar Youth hostel might be the most charming and lovely hostel I’ve stayed at. The location is peaceful and the facility itself is comfortable and cozy. This hostel has a great lounge, large kitchen with all the essential utensils, and the staff are so accommodating and pleasant. "

"The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. When we were booking the hotel, we knew it had swimming pool and other amenities and it looked great on the photos. The opinions were mixed and honestly I don't know why, the room was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the dining was delicious! We were amazed by the amount of thing happening in and around the hotel, and the actual amount of facilities the hotel provides. We will definately be back to make the full use of the facilities! "it was brilliant to stay in the wee hut. It was very charming, clean and cozy for myself and my better half. The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. The optional breakfast was fantastic and they were able to accommodate to our dietary needs."

"Check in was easy you get a code sent for the front and room door, very well equipped with a small kitchen area with a fridge which when travelling with a dog was really useful for the food. Bed lovely and comfy with a small balcony area to sit out and as the weather was so good was perfect. Ample parking with a very short walk into Aviemore, plenty local shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants to choose from "
