Very nice hotel. Clean and beautiful. The amenities were amazing too. I used the laundry facilities and the public bath and both were wonderful. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Hotel is very modern, lots of extras. Gym needs actual weights but cardio will do. Staff really take care of everyone and do their best to help. The area around the area around the hotel is quiet, streets were very empty. City is super clean and very safe. Their restaurant buffet is amazing with lots of options to choose from. There's something for everyone. The whole hotel is very clean and taken care of. I do suggest some type of signage in front on the 2 big black doors next to family mart. If you've never been there, you wouldn't know it's a side entrance to the hotel. Shiomi Station is about 1 minute walk across the street. Train to Tokyo station is about a 8 minute ride. Once you understand the train system is pretty easy to figure out. If you can, buy your tickets at the train station, way cheaper than 2nd or 3rd party apps. You don't need the JR pass unless you're going everywhere on the train, but if you're just grabbing a few trains here and there it's way cheaper to do one way trips. Narita Airport to Shiomi Station was only $2500 YEN which was about $16 USD. Pack light if you take the trains because there's lots of stairs to carry your luggage up or down. The hotel has a very welcoming front area where you can sit and relax and read a book or just chill. They offer complimentary coffee from 3pm to 6pm. There's a family mart attached to the hotel which is very convenient. There's 2 other stores across the street and a few little restaurants to grab a quick bite.

I cannot say enough about how great this hotel is. First, I lost my 1 caret diamond earring in the restaurant and a staff member turned it in as soon as it was found so it was returned to me. The room was so clean daily and the staff was so accommodating and kind. The bartender was awesome. It was across the street from the subway for easy transportation. It was a reasonable price and I highly recommend. Thank you Prince Shiomi.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff who speak very good english! Spacious rooms, nice (included) public men and women’s baths. Only 2 min walk to Shiomi station which takes you to Tokyo station within a few stops, providing easy public transit access. The location itself isn’t very central, most places we went to (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, Harajuku) were ~45 min train on average. However, the rooms are bigger and cheaper and nicer than if you stayed more central. The attached Family Mart with a side entrance from within the hotel was sooo convenient and nice for when we needed snacks/drinks or a quick meal! Tip for others - once you land, you can bring your luggage to the front desk the same day you check in. We brought our luggage in at 7am to be stored so we could explore, then came back for check-in at 3pm. Another tip: We were going to Osaka & Kyoto afterward for several days then come back to Tokyo before flying out from Haneda. but didn't want to carry too much luggage. Our bags were heavy from souvenirs/shopping. So before check-out we packed 1 suitcase with all our souvenirs/dirty clothes and brought it to the attached Family Mart and paid to have it shipped directly to Haneda airport for us so we could be hands free the rest of the trip. It cost us only approx 3000 yen for a 42lb large suitcase. It varies based on size, weight, distance/location. It was well worth it for us. Must give them 3 days prior to trip to ship it so plan ahead, don’t do it last minute!

The big bath was excellent. Would like some staff to ‘police’ the place for the men’s though. Some guests were not following the rules, for example talking loudly and wearing swimming trunks. I have to accept it is hard to have staff stationed there all the time, but regular patrol should be sufficient. The sauna was way too hot for me. All staff I have met are very friendly and polite. Surprised this is not a 5-star hotel. Service was certainly 5-star. Breakfast - we stayed for for 8 days, so it did get repetitive for us towards the end because the food were the same every single day. It was unfortunate for us that the JR line was suspended one whole morning. Loved the free bottled water every day. Would like more English TV channels instead of just one CNN Japan lol. Netflix shouldn’t be too expensive?

We really liked our stay at the Shiomi Prince. This hotel has a lot of great positives - the train station next door, the onsen, and cleanliness. We did find that dining options around the hotel is quite limited, meaning you will need to hop on the train often. I do however recommend the Indian restaurant within walking distance (Darjeeling Spices). Overrall, great value in Tokyo.

Bedroom not ready even past checking time. Incompetent/unhelpful front desk staff. Taxi pick up to go to the airport at checkout ordered for the wrong day. No unbrela to borrow when it's raining. When it's raining and windy the train line near by the hotel is stopped and you are stuck in an area where there is nothing to do as the hotel reception can even be bothered to order a taxi.

Although it’s far from downtown, the proximity of the train station compensated for it’s accessibility to where the actions are. However, if you have an early morning flight, the train connecting to the airport express train will not be until 5:20 am. We still managed to catch our flight though. The Hotel should offer airport shuttle particularly for guests with early morning flights.

Great stay. The location is great, 2 mins walking distance to railway station. Superstore, restaurants are also walking distance. Will be back when revisit Tokyo next time

I paid for breakfast and when I got there was told it wasn’t included. It was an inconvenience to get anywhere and there was nothing around the hotel except for other hotels and residential buildings. The area was dead and not at all what was described in the write up.
