Great location!
Amazing Stay! The rooms are much bigger than anywhere I stayed in Japan. The location is great being close to the subway (E line). The surrounding area is so pretty - lots of gardens / museums around. The breakfast in the hotel was nice. The surrounding area has lots of very competitively priced restaurants as well. Overall, I totally recommend this hotel to anyone.

It is very close to the train stations. It would be much better if the staffs can speak a little bit better English. Post Office staffs can't speak English at all!

Coming from the US I was looking for a hotel that was big enough to accommodate our whole family in one room and our many luggage, we really enjoyed the nice view and spacious room in this hotel and how it was less than a minute walk to the subway station. It was a very quiet neighborhood as well so it was wonderful to walk around yet close enough to busier street full of restaurants if we just walk about 8 minutes.

Friendly and helpful staff, property is very convenient if attending a Sumo tournament, and very close to subway and train stations. Rooms were larger and with all the usual amenities one would expect. Had a great stay and would go back again.

Japanese breakfast every morning was a treat. The hotel is located next to the Ryogoku subway station so it is somewhat convenient to go anywhere on metro depending on which lines you need to be on. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores close by as well as a grocery store. Although it states, laundry, they do not have laundry in the hotel. The laundromat is close just down the street and has combo wash/dry machines.

The location and convenience of the hotel was great! Very close to the subway and relatively close to the train station. There were a few convenience stores around (7-Eleven, Family Mart, and Lawson) and a great variety of restaurants on the road leading to the train station. The staff was polite and helpful but it was a little difficult to communicate since they didn’t know much English. The only real issue we had was the air conditioner was central air. When we had asked them how the ac worked they explained it was based on the outside temperature (I.e if outside is hot, ac will release cold air, if outside is cold, ac will release hot air). The front desk brought us an additional fan but it didn’t help too much. It made sleeping most nights uncomfortable. The fan was they brought us had a temperature on it that showed the room was usually 26 Celsius (which would drop as the room cooled).

Everything good, minor issue is old school central heating not individual ac control. Everything else is fine they're quick about changing the central temperature

Gem of a hotel
Extremely reasonable rate when we stayed for work. Excellent location for getting around Tokyo. Museums, Sumo, shopping and food nearby. Staff are helpful and attentive. Not the newest hotel but I can absolutely live with that for everything else it offers.

I thought the breakfast buffet was very high quality. Interesting foods especially those preferred in Sumo which is representative of the area. I'd stay here again without question with my family.

It was great that it was close to the metro station and Edo Museum. Nice and helpful staff. I would appreciate more variety in the menu selections, more options too. Food was just ok

Good size rooms with great breakfast.
Buffet breakfast is very good and was the highlight of our stay here. The room size was adequate but we felt stuffy and warm in the room as it was internally heated. The small air conditioning unit that was supplied in the room was not generating enough cool air flow for our liking.

The property was close to the train station and in a great central location. It was convenient and close to great site seeing. I wish the location had more amenities like bottles of water, snacks for the kids, and maybe even lotion or more towels. The TV would be great with access to Netflix or Hulu and also more times to Disneyland and Sea would be great. The shuttle was canceled for the afternoon and we had to pay a taxi which was about $80/8000 yen

Great view of Tokyo Skytree, wakable distance to Sumo musenum Asakusa bridge, parks and jogging tracks. They have also bike for rent, we had a very pleasant stay
