"Beautiful stay overall"

"We loved this 'cabin in the woods'! This is a fantastic unique place - the rustic cabins are all within very close proximity to one another, so you don't need to worry about being too remote. It is very safe and family friendly. We also appreciated being able to roll out our door and onto the Johnson Canyon trail at 8am to beat all the tourist crowds. This is a huge perk. "No amenities but some good breakfast and pool at sister property across the street. Tiny fitness room across the street. Also very good brunch (for reasonable price) at sister property. Location is excellent."

"It was a cheaper option in Banff. With it being right over the highway, we had to get their shuttle into town every time and sometimes it wasn’t available and had to wait. The room was dark and dingy. The bathroom was not very large and wasn’t the cleanest."

"Well thought out design and run well. Not a chain hotel. Sells out quickly because limited number of rooms. Very clean. Breakfast buffet also done well with enough variety. Right in Banff town center and walkable to restaurants and stores."

"This hotel is in the heart of Banff National Park, so we expected the staff to be knowledgeable and provide helpful information to guests. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. We only found out near the end of our trip that the hotel offers complimentary local bus passes for guests. Had this been mentioned at check-in, we could have used Banff's excellent public transportation instead of driving two separate vehicles around town.
