This is a very nice hotel. However, we arrived Friday night and the air conditioning was turned off. No staff member was available to come and check on our room until Monday morning which made for a hot and humid weekend.

Very good service

Close to city center. The room was big and the matress very comfortable. There was a wedding on the ground floor reception room but the music was not loud at all. Good breakfast and good service.

Wir wurden im Nebengebäude untergebracht und obwohl eine Hochzeit stattfand wahr es sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war schon mal besser und die Auswahl war gering. Das Apartment war sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet.

I like Boavista, I've stayed there many many times. However a couple of times, this one included, there was a LOT of noise at night. I totally understand that they host parties, however in such cases it would be nice to be given rooms as far as possible from the noise ;)

Sehr schönes Hotel. Wir waren schon mehrmals dort. Leider haben sie ein Problem mit dem Reinigungspersonal. So wurde 2 x die Suite nicht gereinigt, obwohl jemand das Zimmer aufsperrte und Nachschau hielt. Die Angestellten an der Rezeption reagierten sehr überrascht. Weiters waren die Damen der Reinigung äußerst unhöflich und unfreundlich.

Value for money

Overall a nice and pleasant stay. Comfortable and clean rooms, you can have everything you might needed. Breakfast menu is something that there is still place to improve in Terms of variety and choices. Staff is friendly and willing to assist. Would stay again. Overall value for money.

Maga a hotel nagyon szép, tiszta és modern.Ár/érték arányban jó választás.A parkolás ingyenes.A fürdőszoba és a zuhanykabin nagyon tágas volt, ami pozitívum.A környék szintén nagyon jó,15 perc séta a belváros.Az ágy kényelmes,sok csatorna volt a tévén. Ami negatívum volt, és ezért csak 4 csillag, hogy a wifi egyáltalán nem működött,de ami még nagyobb probléma volt,hogy bejelentkezéskor nem volt a szálloda rendszerében a foglalásunk.A hotels.com kinyomtatott bizonylatával tudtam igazolni a foglalást.Ez bejelentkezéskor viszonylag hamar megoldódott, viszont kijelentkezéskor egy másik recepciós volt ott, aki azt mondta nincs kifizetve a szállás.Legalább 15 perc győzködés és bizonygatás,részéről telefonálgatás után sikerült belátnia, hogy a szállást már előre kifizettem.Ez elég rossz tapasztalalat volt, de ezt leszámítva tudom ajánlani a szállodát! ENGLISH VERSION: The hotel itself is very nice, clean and modern.Value for money.Parking is free.The bathroom and shower were very spacious.The neighborhood is also good, 15 min walk to downtown.The bed was comfortable. What was a negative, that wifi did not work at all, but the bigger problem was that they did not have the booking in their system at check-in.I proved the booking with the printed page from hotels.com.On checkout there was another receptionist who said that we didn't pay for the accommodation.After 15 minutes of convincing,proofing, and telephone calls,he admitted I was right.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel! 8 days of comfort. Even our 2 pets were happy there due to the staff's friendliness.

Average hotel that could easily be better

Positives. The staff were all brilliant. They were helpful, friendly, and efficient. The breakfast buffet was very decent. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was to a high standard. Negatives. It isn't a great location and is at least a 15 to 20 minute walk to the centre. There is very little in the immediate hotel area. The rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment (we were put one room in error, and then moved to our apartment). Both rooms needed attention - broken lightbulbs, broken bracket for the shower hose, no cups or pots in the apartment kitchen etc).

Vernünftiges Haus mit einigen Abstrichen

Hotel ist relativ modern, Zimmer entsprechend ausgestattet; Betten sehr niedrig, nichts für ältere Menschen liegt gleich an Trambahnstation, nach Umsteigen in Bus gelangt man in Innenstadt Personal recht unorganisiert, keine Führung, z.B. war niemand so recht zuständig, das Frühstücksbüfett am 2. Morgen aufzufüllen (es fehlten Milch, Brötchen, Saft, Kaffee...), Büfettauswahl grundsätzlich ausreichend (wenn denn aufgefüllt wird!) Mitarbeiter stehen viel vor Eingang und rauchen und reden Rezeptionisten recht uninformiert über ÖPNV in Stadt (empfehlen nur Taxi obwohl Tramstation vor Tür liegt!) Preise in Hotel nicht in Landeswährung, sondern nur in Euro! Persönliche Taxibestellung zum Flughafen vom Vortag von Reception "vergessen"
