I read a couple of previous reviews that made me hesitant, but the record needs to be set straight. I stayed Mar 14 - March 16 of 2025 and it could not have been a better experience. "Very relaxing stay with helpful friendly staff. Relatively convenient for Kruger although we drove through Kruger ourselves so didn’t use the lodges excursions but those who did spoke highly of them. Great to walk round the immediate area with sightings of giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala and wart hogs. "

"I had a fantastic stay at Motswari. It’s so welcoming and the staff treats you like family or old friends visiting. The hotel is beautiful, the delicious breakfast overlooking the river and the dinner in the bush were unforgettable experiences. Guide and tracker team was also great, very friendly and knowledgeable. "

"Property was excellent - rooms were fantastic top-notch! Had private pool overseeing bush. Staff were very courteous and welcoming. We felt like home away from home.
