"Dirty"

"We tend to go off customer ratings when looking for a place to stay. I’m not sure how this motel has an 8.6 rating! The clerk was very friendly. Upon entering our room, we found it was hosted by a small gecko/lizard. I was able to run it out of the room, but they can just crawl under the door. The bed was an old style spring bed, which I didn’t even know they made anymore. It was unsupportive and uncomfortable. The towels were dingy and rough. There was no shelf or anyplace to put soap or shampoo in the wheelchair accessible shower. There was a very strong deodorizer smell, which usually makes me think they are trying to hide unpleasant odors. On the positive side, the air conditioner worked well, the blackout shades were great, and the room appeared to have a fresh coat of paint. I’m thankful we got a deal from a third party booking co., because I would have been very angry to pay the motel’s price for what we got. "

"The bathroom in our room had faucet and stool problems. The mattress was very uncomfortable. There was a smell in the facilitator that was not particularly pleasant."

"Hair from previous guests left on bathroom floor, tub not properly cleaned. Lots of carbs & only pork options for dinner. Hotel refused to refund me my deposit back due to staff not knowing how to count. "

"Never got the full experience. We checked in and went to the room and discovered room was occupied. Alerted front desk and they said “sorry for ya” we are all out of rooms. Well there was rooms, just not any that were clean and she wasn’t about to clean one that late in the evening. So we left "
