"At check in, they kept insisting we have not paid for our room!, we had to show her our cc statement that it’s paid for. They won’t give us a room with a view, even though we were the only people staying there. We had to keep our curtains closed throughout as it was directly to an open top of the next building. "No service, no information, we went to get breakfast 9:15 but apparently breakfast ended at 9am we were not informed of this.
We took the free bottles of water from the room, and they tried to charge us for them, because they were cold(we put them in the fridge)

"I don't usually review hotels, but Sapa Village Hotel was exceptional and I thought it deserved a review. It's not in the most crowed area of hotels and shops, but we liked that. It was easy to walk to the lake, which is very beautiful and only 5-10 minutes from Sapa station, where you can get the cable car to Fansipan. We even walked to Cat Cat village from our hotel. The property also felt special with the terrace patios, with beautiful plants everywhere, and the staff was very nice and helpful."
