"Our stay at the Historic Smith Hotel was our favorite of the two week vacation. We'd love to stay there again. We loved the comfortable room with antique decor and homey feel. The homemade breakfasts were fantastic. We especially enjoyed getting to know the two wonderful women who hosted us - really enjoyable conversations with them. The location was perfect between Bryce and Zion National Parks. A great experience!"

"I enjoyed the 1950’s motor lodge vibe! Beds were clean and very comfy. No tub, just shower. Breakfast and front desk service were down the road at the Best Western- kinda odd, but delicious breakfast. Carpet/floor in the room were pretty old."

"Everything was wonderful. Kristin checked us in and she was awesome. Best front desk person we had this trip. The room was beautiful. Big, Clean, comfortable, quiet, everything we needed was there. The Thunderbird restaurant had excellent food and the servers were wonderful too. Lloyd was our server for dinner and Jersey was our server for breakfast. (there is no elevator)"

"We reserved one night at Parrie Lodge, but after our first night, we reserved two more. Then, after enjoying the area around Kanab so very much as well as the community itself, we stayed our fourth night. Comfortable beds, white clean linens! Wonderful breakfast each morning in a lovely dining area. Bacon, delish! Fruit each morning! Pizza the first evening was quite good as well as the salad. The history that surrounds this Lodge/Hotel/Motel is wonderful. Little Hollywood! Go and find out! You will be delighted to do so."

"Great place but this time the buffet breakfast wasn't as good as in the past and the lady helping in the breakfast area seemed irritated when I asked if anything more was coming out since two serving casserole canisters were empty. Place was clean"

"This is an amazing resort, with a wide variety of activities available for guests, a great onsite restaurant, and quaint cabins with updated furnishings and appliances. We felt very comfortable. We regret that, due to our crowded schedule, we didn't have the time to avail ourselves of the many activities available, such as miniature golf or jeep tours. One minor criticism: We arrived after dark, and we were given our key and a map to our cabin, which was #3. The property is not very well lit at night, so we spent over 15 minutes driving around trying to find cabin #3. At one point we found a cabin #3, but someone was already in it. When we went back to the registration desk, they explained that there were multiple cabin #3s, which were differentiated by the level of the size and number of beds. The map was not super helpful. We finally found the right cabin, and it was certainly worth the wait!"

"Housekeeping never came by 330pm. That was disappointing. Front desk was very defensive about the lack of fresh towels etc. i received a text saying I declined housekeeping even though that was not true. We returned from a full day of touring and I wanted to rest. I assumed they would have been there between 9am and 330 pm. Poor communication and defensive attitude at the front desk. Otherwise the property is perfect."
