"This hotel located in Three Rivers town is an excellent choice to stay when visiting the Sequoia National Park. It is just 12 min from the entrance. Then you need to drive a bit to get the the Sequoia Park itself. Rooms where clean, comfy, breakfast was excellent. Just be aware that there are no elevators to get to the second floor. Juts barely across from the hotel is a mexican restaurant called Casa Mendoza, it is excellent."

If you are staying here to go to the Sequoia trees this hotel is the closest to the park entrance but you will be going through quite a bit of curves and mountains hills before you get the the entrance of the Sequoia trees."

The drive to the resort will take you through some narrow winding roads and it will take approximately an hour and a half to make it up there (approximately 23-25 miles). In some places, it’s hard for two cars to get by. There was road construction going on, they closed the road down, so we had to schedule accordingly. Once you get up there you may not want to go back down to retrieve groceries, food, etc. No gas station, so gas up beforehand. Nice quiet resort, WiFi available, no tvs."
