"We loved this little place! We will definitely stay again. It’s clean and the beds are great! We ate at the little cowboy restaurant a few yards down the road and had excellent steaks and great live music. Came back and chatted with some other vacationers around the beautiful fire. The whole experience was lovely! Off the beaten path but even more quaint that way!"

"The owners Barbara and Scott are such lovely people. They helped us make our sight seeing plans. We felt like we had known them for along time. The breakfast was plentiful and the vibe in the dining room was comfortable. Our room was clean, comfortable and lots to look at. The parking was great. Highly recommend The Big Yellow House."

"The location was not visually appealing, but it was close to Hwy 15, & not far from Main St eateries. The ice machine was broken, which was unfortunate, but the room was excellent. King size bed with hot tub big enough for two. Our room was tucked into the corner of the building & we heard zero noise from the outside. I would stay here again."

"It was a roomy sleeping room; however, due to the vicinity of the freeway noisy. The bed was comfortable, yet the ac could only be turned down to 67. We chose this hotel because of their stated availability of a hot tub. It was out of service. The front desk called the sister property 1/2 mile away and we could use theirs. Yet that was not our intent when we chose this higher priced hotel. We also were surprised that breakfast was NOT included, as it stated on the app made to order."

"This hotel is discussing. After checking in went to the room and carpet next to bed was drenched in water, went to front desk to talk to the manager. He offered towels to lay on the floor. Next morning side of the bed was wet the towels on floor were soaked the bathroom was flooded with water. Leaking from ceiling. Light could not be shut off in bathroom. Toilet ran all night. So giving my advice sleep in the car before renting a room at this hotel. Ed."

"In general the room was very comfortable and the value was good. The pool was a little on the cold side. The breakfast was so-so but adequate. Property was easy walking distance to a few restaurants and easy on and off of Interstate 15."

"The room was The hotel has potential, but my room needed some serious attention. It wasn't outright filthy, but it definitely wasn't clean. The comforter was torn on the far side, the back of the door was dirty, and it looked like someone had tried to kick it in at some point. The room also had a strong musty smell (possibly mold,) though I can't say that officially. The pool was in acceptable condition, and the complimentary breakfast was good if you get there early enough. If you sleep in,...

"If you’re just staying one night, it’s a good place and the free breakfast comes in handy while traveling"

"The gentleman at the desk was super helpful, giving us a ground floor room when we requested it, and even called us after check-in to see how things were. When we reported a leak, he came right over. There were a few noisy customers early in the evening, but they quieted down. This is a great place if you're on a budget, and it's convenient to restaurants in town."
