"The whole experience was perfect. Jen communicated well, giving all the needed instructions about entry and free parking etc. The room and all areas of the property were well appointed, very clean and had obvious attention to detail. This place is off the charts in character. I had coffee in the turret and looked out to see the St Lawrence River. The stairs require some attention by anyone who climbs them. If was a bit more expensive than other options but well worth the extra. "

"The staff was wonderful. The house was charming and has an interesting history. Very close the down town. We stayed in the library room. Cleanliness I'd give it an 8/10. I had to move the end table as my phone cord fell behind it. A lot of dust bunnies behind there. Continental breakfast was good. The only bad thing I could say about our stay was that it was very noisy early in the morning. This room is on the main floor. The people staying above us were up extremely early and walked heavily...

"Breakfast was delicious. They served a full breakfast food was delicious. Meal was served on warm plates. The owners are a lovely couple."

"Happy with our 1st stay in the large family suite and the good breakfast ($7/person), we booked again on way back for the Champagne suite. The well kept big house can view the river from balconies of some rooms or the rooftop terrace (don't miss the sunrises). The hosts live on site and the lady was friendly and nice to talk to."

"Charming little hotel, steps from dock where Thousand Islands cruise ship departs from and just a few blocks from best stretch of downtown. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was upscale, delicious and plentiful. Convenient and lively pub downstairs (no noise heard from room though). Only improvement offered would be some electrical outlets/USB ports more accessible for charging devices (one of those table lamps with built in ports would do the trick). Strongly recommend"
