"The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants."

"It’s a beautiful view from the hotel. The pool area was good very much like the photos. I thought the breakfast was average but my wife said it was good so it depends. The healthy food in the restaurant (poke bowls etc) was VERY good. The rooms were fine. Not much in the local area. I was here 2 nights and that was fine. "

"Cozy hotel by the beach. We stayed on a seaside bungalow, where the view was super! Hotel was well maintained and has a peaceful wibe. We rented a motorbike through the reception and all went smoothly. Hotel restaurant has great food, both thai & western - and is a reasonably priced, even though being a place where you can actually dine on a beach."

"Traditional Thai beds don’t be surprised at the firmness and sleeping on the ground. But otherwise super accommodating friendly and nice staff. The provide free water a light breakfast of toast, fruit and cookies. Free tea and coffee whenever you like. Ac and hot shower great stay"

"I’d recommend this place!! It’s not that far of a scooter ride to any beach on the island from here. It was very quiet and secluded at the hotel. But walk 3 minutes and you’re on a street with lots of restaurants and stuff. They have it all..restaurant at the hotel, drinks, nice view off balcony. You can book taxi service and scooter rental at front desk, they’ll arrange person to come. "

"Everything was amazing. Everything I dreamed of coming to Thailand! Infinity pool over looking the ocean. The place we stayed in was our own personal cabin and the service and vegan menu there was incredible, and I’m a meat eater. We had the bruschetta, the smoothie bowls and the crapes and all was a chefs kiss. Our ferry arrived early and they let us use the pool and got us in early check in. "The check in process was relatively easy it’s walking distance from the pier about 500 meters the room was clean the aircon was cold there is free tea and coffee available in the foyer a kettle in the room would be more convenient but I was happy with my stay here "

"We had a big and beautifull room with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a big enclosed shower, great for not showeing the hole bathroom and everything in it while taking a shower. Our room was on the 3 floor so we had a nice view over the pool with palm trees. We did not use the pool that much. It is a tiny pool with only 4 sunbeds so you have to be early to get a spot. But its only 10 min walking to the beach. Very clean. Very nice and helpfull staff. Great location....
