6. Park Maksimir

Its 781 acres (316 hectares) consists of broad promenades, lakes, lush meadows and woodlands. Established toward the end of the 18th century, Park Maksimir is based on the idea of an English country garden. 7. St. Mark's Church

With checkered tiles depicting colorful coats of arms, the roof of St. Mark’s Church is visually striking. In addition, investigate the church’s interesting mixture of architectural styles and several significant artworks. St. Mark's Church (Crkva sv. Marka) is a late-gothic church situated in old Zagreb, although the tower is of Renaissance style.

The roof is amazing, and features the Coat of Arms for Zagreb on the sourthern side (pictured) in addition to the Triune Kingdom of Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia (not pictured).
