The SS Thistlegorm was a British Naval Ship bombed by the Germans and sunk on 6 October 1941 near Ras Muhammad in the Red Sea and is now considered the top shipwreck diving site in the world!

For about $100 you can take a day trip out of Dahab to Sharm where you bored a lovely boat and cruise out to the site (about another 2 hours), breakfast and lunch are provided and both are quite tasty. The sites are lovely on the way and if you're luck you'll see dolphins!

You take 2 dives at Thistlegorm, 1 outside the ship and the other inside!!! AMAZING!

You finish the day with a drift dive from Yolanda to Shark Reef, where there is another ship wreck that was carrying toilets. It's pretty funny.

Pictured are live missiles left on the wreck, you can read the writing. There are 2 tanks left on the deck, airplane parts and other warfare supplies as well as an entire hull of motor bikes. Very creepy and very cool!
