"This is about a half mile walk from the South Amtrak station, close to the metro and popular attractions like the freedom trail. The place is newer, clean and well maintained. This was the first time I've ever stayed at a hostel and it was a positive experience, although we did not end up having other roommates in our 4-bed bunk room. It has a nice kitchen, laundry area, and other common areas, and big individual lockers in the bunk rooms to lock up your stuff (bring your own lock). I would stay here again if I'm ever in Boston. My only complaint would be the motion sensor light in the bunk room that would flip off frequently when we wanted it to stay on, and flip on in the middle of the night if we moved while we were sleeping - but if we kept our bed curtains closed it wasn't an issue."

"we first got in early coz' we were on a red-eye flight prior. i got this on a flight-hotel-car package but the hotel was nice enough to allow us to leave our baggage so we don't have it lugging around the city. the staff was very helpful from the get-go. i emailed them about parking - since parking in boston is outrageous. they provided me a place where i can have in-out privileges and very close to the hotel (4-5 minute walk) which was a plus. the room was pretty spacious and when i needed extra towels they were able to provide it pretty quickly. i say this is a very nice hotel & situated near the water - you can easily walk to various restaurants, if you like. the hotel has their own restaurant which i wasn't able to go to. maybe next time - i will do my best. i can definitely say that i recommend this hotel on your vacation. A+!!!"

"I am a long time Marriott customer. This hotel is nice and modern but misses on the basics. The size of the room is smaller than an inside cruise ship room. Example you can only access bed from one side. The bed was hard, the pillows were way too thick to sleep on. There was no bed sheet with required you to use the duvet which was way too hot. "

"Funky hotel, nice design. Coffee in lobby isn’t good. There can be a wait for bathrooms. My lights were flickering, the bed lamp didnt work. Hair dryer turned off every 5 seconds. For a hotel room with no bathroom I thought this was expensive but it was marathon weekend and I needed to be close to the Acela (it’s a few blocks to Back Bay Station)."

"This was our second stay at the Dagny! We love the location as it's close to everything. The beds are fabulous, th rooms are a good size and comfortable for a working couple. The staff is always pleasant. We will definitely be making this property one of our staples for Boston. "
