Sofitel Mumbai BKC Hotel

"I have been choosing Sofitel BKC as my preferred stay in Mumbai since 2014. This stay was the first time i noticed that the hotel is ageing and things have changed. Cleanliness or finishing quality in shower enclosure bottom and corners was questionable. There were patches of dust in some corners in the room. The smart tv was not opening any apps like YouTube or Netflix despite being connected to hotel Wi-Fi. I connected it to my phone hotspot to watch RC. I remember earlier French press coffee jar and ground powder was standard issue in rooms. Now one gets sleepy owl coffee, which is not high end. Towels smelt of bleach. Literally a day earlier i stayed at nearby Trident and their towels were smelling fresh and floral. All above points to substantial cost cutting measures affecting guest experience. Staff hospitality & attitude remains top notch. This stay alone has not dissuaded me from choosing them next stay but i will keep my eyes peeled in future!"

"The property was spotless and well-maintained. The room was equipped with all the essentials, including a kettle, TV, bath essentials, coffee/tea maker and more. A lovely gesture was the complimentary mango. The bathtub was spacious and the hotel provided bath slats and bubble bath. The pool and gym facilities were also excellent. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. The hotel’s prime location near many cafes added to the overall experience. The staff and service were outstanding and incredibly helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic stay."

"Excellent hotel and excellent staff. Mr. Ravi Vaze, Mr. Marshall, Mr. Siddhesh from Citrus Restaurant, Mr. Sandeep from concierge have a knack to make each guest feel so special! Mr. Nambiar makes exquisite South Indian dishes which are so delicious and special! Mr.Jadhav helped keep the room super clean and welcoming! Because of all people mentioned, customers like me keep coming back so many times!"
