"Beautiful 2 night stay at the Historical house for our family of four. Conveniently located in a charming setting with walkable surroundings. Good option as home base for day trip to Húsavík just an hour away. Was spacious and had everything we needed. Also close to delicious Brynja ice cream shop!"
"Eclectic hotel with a hostel feel…breakfast was bountiful and delicious…family suite was spacious and funky. Parking was easy and very convenient to downtown and airport."
"Room and bathroom good but fighting seagulls at 2 am in the back alley was very unpleasant.
Also no kitchen facilities - essential if you call yourself a hostel and showers in the basement through the pub no great situation.
Fun place, nice atmosphere and great pub in the middle of it all. "
"Washroom room 201 corner of bath broken it hurt, bed painful and no parking if you arrive late so street parking. Check in 5 pm check out 10 am. Someone was cooking in the basement the had rice and non veg smell. Not worth"
"It was very comfortable and well equipped for 7 of us. It was a 5-10 minute walk into the town centre and a big shopping centre the other way. Lots of parking on the road and it was quiet. "
"We loved our stay. The room was bright and clean and we had a great view of the mountains in the back and of the farm animals. Elisabeth was a great host and the breakfast provided was so good. We enjoyed our chats with Elisabeth. I would highly recommend the guesthouse!"

"The people are excellent! Very helpful and eager to assist. The breakfast offered lots of choices, including hot sausage, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Lots of tasty pastries, too. "
"Great location. While I was here they were transitioning into some newly acquired space. Getting around the property was a little odd but of course this will be temporary. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The back of the property walks out to public parking and the front walks out to a pedestrian promenade with shops and restaurants."
"Acco guesthouse is a great walkable distance from a handful of dining options and shopping. The room we stayed in was very spacious and the beds were large and comfortable.
The bathroom however, was quite tight. The shower ledge takes up a lot of room even though the shower is very small. The ledge also had a decent size chunk out of it which was a big hazard when we had just woken up in the morning and weren’t used to our surroundings. "
Appreciate a view of the impressive horseshoe shape of the Waterfall of the Gods and go hiking alongside the foamy rapids of the Skjálfandafljót River.
